I know that I have done several blogs about Obama’s Health-Care Reform, but after further study, I felt there was more to say more. I was doing research and came across an article that showed that people in Texas are not getting the food stamps they desperately need. As it turns out, the people that need emergency food stamps are supposed to be able to get them in 72 hours,(which if you are a hungry kid is a long time), while those who have a little income but cannot afford food should get their stamps in 90 days, (again this is outrageous that a family should choose between housing and food).  In the state of Texas, it seems that receipiants are going way past the deadlines to receiver help, not by fault of their own, but because the applications are not being processed. The problem in Texas is so bad that a “Class Action Suit” has been filed to help the families not getting the much needed help.

After finding out about the problems with food stamps, it occurred to me that this is a government run program, and it obviously does not work well, so why would we want to let government control us going to the doctor, if they cannot feed those in needs, (a program they have have had decades to tweak and fix).

It is not just the Food Stamp program that has issues, as we all know the Social Security Accounts are in trouble, as well as the HUD, Medicare, and other Programs aimed at helping the poor. it sounds redundant, but these are all places where we have governmental management.

As I see it, if we look at the programs the government controls, all we see blatant abuse and mismanagement, so I for one do not want to trust them to manage my medical care. It is my fear that it will become a waiting game, and that millions of people, (the poor who cannot afford to pay for help), are going to die while waiting for the government to say they can go to the doctor.

I guess that I might not have as many reservations about the government health care program if President Obama was not hell-bent on just pushing something into law without any concern for what he is passing. Obama’s ego just wants to say he got a health care plan passed. The President needs to step back, get real people, like the Doctors at the Mayo Clinic, to come up with a health plan that has some chance of working, and then make sure that he has real people to run it, if there is anyone in Washington that is not corrupt. If the President is truly concerned about getting medical care to those that need it, then why would he not want to pass a plan that will work? There are several countries that have Managed Health-Care, and the government needs to look at how they work, (what strengths and weakness are), and then right a real plan. If we can spend billions of tax dollars on studying the mating habits of bees, why not a study that would actually be of help?

It seems as though President Obama really has no touch with the real world, that is why he is seeing his Public Opinion Polls drop consistently every week, those who put him in office have discovered that he talks a good game, but walking it is another story. I know that the President could do a good job, heck anyone with an IQ over 50 could, it is all common sense, but Obama has not lived in the real world, and does not seem interested in talking to those that have to help him. When you have people that make and spend so much money, they see the world one way, and it is nothing like that for those of us who everyday choose between medicine, food, housing, and sending or kids to college. All we have to do is look at what President Obama spent to get elected to see his grasp of the real world. Have you ever wondered how he sleeps at night knowing all that wasted money could have feed the entire country? It was just released that the government is being allowed to spend 12 million dollars to buy airplanes for congress to get around, Mr President, how can you justify that when most of us cannot even afford to keep our homes, (I lost mine last month and now have to live with family, I could have used some of that cash)? Obama could not give us extra tax refund cash, but he will allow the government officials private planes instead of helping the public airlines by giving them business, that would make to much sense huh, get a reality check please.

It may seem that I have a personal grudge against our President, but I really do not, I am not the type of person who dislikes anyone, but I do disagree with his policies of putting more debt on the little guy, and his racism. Many try to say he is half white, he cannot be racist, but he is and being mixed makes him the worse kind because he should know better. Obama even promotes racism, if we look at his pick for Supreme Court Justice tells us that, (Sotomayor is a racist, made racist statements, and Obama still chose her). I understand him wanting to be President so bad he was willing ot use the “I’m Black” race card to get elected, but now that he is there, he has a chance to not only do good, but also to show that race does not make a difference in being a good leader, so why is he not taking advantage of this opportunity?  President Obama needs to step back and look longer at health-Care, try to fix what is going on in Texas, fix Social Security, stop using tax dollars to bring his friends to the White House for a beer, and look at getting rid of not only the Clinton’s, but everyone that served with them, this is supposed to be the Obama Administration, not Part 3 of the Clinton Administration, (is the President really so inept that he needed another President’s staff to tell him how to do his job?).

So in closing, I say to you the American People, You have got to be kidding me….are you really going to allow the government to ruin our lives by denying us health-care?, and to Mr President, please follow what you learned in kindergarten..STOP, LOOK, LISTEN, and give us answers to real problems for real people, not create more…..you do have to get re-elected. Lastly, I just heard you, President Obama list all the things that President Lincoln did at the same time while he was in office, and I want to say, YOU ARE NOT Lincoln, he cared about all people equally….can you say that?
